Meet Tim Falls

Hi, I’m Tim. 👋🏼 I've spent 15+ years building community programs and GTM initiatives that drive massive impact for high-growth startups.

As employee #6 at SendGrid (IPO, acq $3B), I created the marketing department, built the developer relations and startup partnerships programs, led international expansion (eg, SendGrid Japan), and helped the company scale to 250+ employees in my four-year tenure. I then held VP roles at Keen IO and Nexosis, where I led Community and DevRel in each company’s respective paths to exit. At DigitalOcean, I led Community, DevRel, DevEdu, and Events, during the company’s pre-IPO growth stage. Most recently, I led Community in a B2C communications startup called Memo, where I learned what it’s like to shut down a company.

Technologically speaking, I’m especially well-versed in email, APIs, data & analytics, machine learning and AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and web3.

While primarily focused on GTM goals, I’ve also led community initiatives serving product, customer support/success, and more.

Beyond my operational experience, I serve as a mentor, advisor, and board member to founders, from cutting-edge AI tech to non-profit print media.
